The First Anniversary of the Japan Earthquake And Tsunami

During the first year after the greatest earthquake and tsunami ever recorded, Japanese people's sense of value seemed changing, while the strong wish for the reconstruction of the afflicted areas, in fact, are gradually faded away from their minds.
Without having any directions to lead the so-called world's third economic power, the government and even opposing parties, who were able to do nothing other than claiming against the governing party's proposals, haven't done anything. Meanwhile, people in the greater Tokyo region, who live under the fear of the next possible huge earthquake to hit the capital, still keep living in the same place as they did before the catastrophe.
Not only in home but also in abroad, Japan is differently viewed today. Although the country had enjoyed high-reputation in the world with the myth of security, which is broken into pieces by the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear accident, foreigners tried to avoid living in the country, especially those who are considered as the future work-force for the nation, like Indonesians, Philippians, Indians and more from Asia. It is not only because of the incidents, but also the long-standing recession and major decline of Japanese firms, including Sony, Panasonic and so on, cause foreigners and even Japanese people to leave Japan.
If nobody does nothing, Japan will be a mere shadow of what it is today.
